Morning Routine
One of the most helpful ways to understand our connection with the Spirit world is to recognize our own vibrational state, the way we give, receive, and experience energy. This begins with something very simple: learning to pause.
Teaching the body and mind to pause gives us an opportunity to recalibrate before we begin exchanging energy with the world around us. Before the day starts asking things of you, there is a moment to notice where you are, how your body feels, what your mind is carrying, and what is present within you. This awareness matters because the energetic state we begin our day from influences how we experience, respond to, and move through what comes next.
Spirit helps us recognize the simple, easy ways to build easy habits to connection. Starting in the morning is often offered as guidance because it is a fresh start, free of mind clutter and noise. Even through awareness of bringing yourself to a moment of stillness and intention for the day can be a productive and helpful way to find a natural new habit that the body, mind and soul all get on board with.
One way I start every morning is with an affirmation or prayer. It is set from a vibrational state true gratitude and an appreciation that it is a new day. Regardless of what occurred the day before and what the current day holds, it helps to begin your energetic state from a baseline that your body remembers, your soul understands and your mind looks for.
A favorite of mine is:
“ I pray to you God, my Angels of Light, and My entire team in Spirit, to help guide me with wisdom, with faith. To elevate my energy and bring undoubted knowing that it is your ideas and inspirations leading me forward.”
To have the sense that you are being supported and guided by something greater than you helps instill a practice that feels good. Simply put. It isn’t a massive expectation to have to do, or be, but instead allows you to begin with intention and awareness. An act of love for self.
Others have found guidance in a routine that may start with simply drink a glass of water when they wake up, turn on some music, open the blinds before anything else, or find movement by a gentle stretch. These may seem silly or even insignificant, but these are some the of the common ways Spirit helps us bring intention to new habits that are logical, practical and we find sustainable.
Finding stillness can be a productive way to not only treat yourself to love but also to encourage a pace and syncing with Spirit that is easier to grow and supports the presence of your loving energy to match that of what lies beyond you.
May you find what works for you and stick with it.
